This product delivers its promises of being a "soothing gel" with aloe vera and herbs. Aloe vera is the primary ingredient, followed by St. John's Blossom Extract, Arrica Blossoms Extract, Calendula Blossoms Extract - so right there the first 5 ingredients are botanicals. This is best for if you got a bit of sun and now are regretting the redness. It calms the skin right down. It's also good as a pre-moisturizer gel - it won't compete with your regular skin regimen. The only thing I don't like is the fragrance. It reminds me of shaving gel? Anyway, it has masculine connotations for me every time I put it on.

This was ultra soothing! I love applying aloe vera after a day in the sun. It feels great and is hydrating too. There is a scent and smells fresh. It was easy to apply everywhere because it's a gel texture and the absorbency is great too! The bottle looks chic too making this feel luxurious for an aloe vera product.

This product has a smell that reminds me of baby powder or baby oil. I though it was just my nose, but after several days of using the product, I still continue to get a light whiff of baby powder kind of scent. Overall the product is clear like oozy-gel. Apply it to clean skin and you will notice that it leaves a sticky residue on your hands at first for about a minute, and than it quickly absorbs and goes away like you never had the product in your hand at all. I applied it to arms and legs that were overexposed to the sun, and that were slightly burned. It felt very soothing, cooling and calming. No reaction to the product whatsoever. It was very hydrating without it being oily or sticky. Skin felt better.
