In the early 1990's, Ron Popeil began marketing, through his company, Popeil, formerly known as Ronco, a hair loss concealer spray product called GLH #9, which was made in China. Popeil sold these cans of hair loss concealer spray through their web site and infomercials on TV. It was very effective at concealing thinning hair and bald spots and worked like magic for me. It sprayed on easily, but I had to cover the bathroom sink and floor with either towels or paper towels so the dark brown hair loss concealer wouldn't get all over the place. I also had to wear a bathrobe or else the color spray would get all over my body. GHL #( had one other downside to it, a heavy chemical aresol spray smell that you did not want to breath into your lungs. I would have to hold my breath. But that's not the case with this Coprillo Hair Thickener Spray. It doesn;t have that nasty smell, meaning it has far less chemcials than GHL #9 used to have. In fact, I once read the ingredients on the can for GHL #9. There were at least 30 to 40 chemicals in GHL #9's formula but that's not the case with Coprillo. In fact, if you check the ingredient list on the side of the can for the Coprillo Hair Thinkener Spray, there are less than 20 ingredients in a can of Coprillo. Of course, the size of Coprillo's cans are far smaller than the cans for GHL #9, which were the size of large hair spray cans but the Coprillo's cans are much smaller, meaning you get less product, much less hair loss concealer thickener spray than what Popeil used to give their customers in every can of GHL #9. I used to buy GHL # 9 in a box of 12 cans that used to last me four months, sometimes five months. But the Coprillo cans are so small, they will only last me about 4 applications at most because I have extensive hair loss all over my scalp. And after I apply the Coprillo spray, I still have to use Toppik hair fibers to touch up the look that Coprillo gives me. I will say this, Coprillo also makes a colored hair cream that comes in cans that you pump out. I pump it out on a paper plate and with an applicator, I can apply the cream to my thinning scalp and then pump spray the Toppik fibers over that for a halfway decent look.

I have been using the Hairfor2 for gray which works well but people were always asking about the color because it tends to be more of a lavender color gray, Coprilo is more of a Silver/Gray, I have a lot to cover it works well with the scalp staying covered from day to day but I do need to touch up daily in-between washing for the bulk.
