I find the light gray powder works awesome on my scalp to cover my thinning hair. This is the only place I've found a powder that matches and works.thank you.

I've used the Sevich scalp concealer every other day for about two weeks and it is covering my scalp where my hair is thinning.--One area is a cowlick in my crown plus thinning hair.
I do wish the sponge "lid" was a bit bigger or had some type of little loop (like the powder lid has). It is hard to grasp and then apply the powder effectively without dropping it.
I'm satisfied with the product otherwise.

I use this product in the Light Brown shade! It is reasonably priced. I use it to cover my grey roots in between colorings ( I do my roots every 3 wks) and for thinning around my temples. Love how easy it is to apply and how natural looking it is. I tried to use some of the root sprays, but disliked how they made my thin hair feel heavy, sometimes left easily visible blotches on my scalp, and how it was hard to control the spray nozzle. Yes, I wish this came in a larger container with a brush, but I can use a makeup brush to better apply the powder where I want it. I am very satisfied with this product and will continue to buy.

It seems that the formulas for the 'scalp concealing' products are constantly changing from effective to less than effective. The best concealer I have ever used was Couvre, and none of the replacement products have equaled its performance. The follow-ups have either been difficult to apply evenly, were too dark, or even too weak. The 'rub on', powdered cake (coming from make-up like containers) were useful but not as good as Couvre. This most recent product is more difficult to apply evenly, and unlike the previous formula of Sevich Scalp Concealor, I notice a shine on the back of my head after application, and the 'shine' is what makes thinning hair more evident.

I was very pleased that the Sevich Scalp Concealer worked so well to conceal my widening hair part. My hair is light brown/gray and I purchased the light coffee, which turned out to be a good color for me. The sponge pad that comes with the concealer does a great job of spreading the concealer onto the scalp. I have tried another brand of concealer that did not work well at all, so I am very happy to find this brand.
